Raising The Timber Frame

The bents are raised with a crane then temporarily supported. The crane then brings in the connecting beams and everything is tied together.

6/4/02: Bent number 1 is the first to go up. The frame is being assembled moving from West to East.

6/4/02: Bent number 3 is next.

6/4/02: Kim pounds in a peg. The timber joinery is held together mostly with pegs.

6/7/02: The crew was short handed so Jeff helps out.

6/5/02: Bent number 4 was the last to be raised.

6/13/02: Nearly completed - the crew "tweeks and pegs".
